For many, Christmas is a time celebrated with shared meals, comforting traditions and moments of togetherness and joy. But for women and children escaping violence, the festive season can be one of the most isolating and uncertain times of the year.

This past Christmas, our community came together to help remind our community’s most vulnerable that they were not forgotten over the holidays.

Through your support, we were able to create thousands of moments of warmth, dignity and connection for women and children in refuges across the country, during a time that can otherwise feel incredibly heavy.

From gifting to sponsored feasts, here’s all the Christmas magic you helped us create.

THOUSANDS OF
DONATED MEALS
FUNDED

Through the sale of our Sweet Memories Crackers, Gift Card Sets and Always Celebrate with Cake sets, you helped us raise funds for a whopping 6,375 meals to be donated to women and children living in crisis.

These aren’t your standard frozen dinners, either; every meal is nutritious and comforting, and prepared with the same love we would give to our very own families.

For many women, having meals taken care of meant one less decision to make in an already overwhelming time. For children, it meant consistency, familiarity, and the quiet reassurance that a full tummy gives us.

LOVE THROUGH
LUNCH

With huge thanks to our generous sponsors - Barry Nilsson, Aura, Clean Plus, JLL, BIC Consolidated, Centuria and Flequity - we were able to deliver our Love Through Lunch initiative for a second year, seeing festive feasts and gifts shared with 240 women and children across 11 shelters and refuges around Sydney.

These gatherings were about creating space for laughter, conversation and connection; for moments where tables were set, food was shared, and women and children could experience a sense of celebration on their own terms.

From Two Good catering and tableware, to Christmas crackers and considered gifts, we were able to offer an experience filled with comfort and joy, as a reminder that they are worthy of love and celebration too.

FESTIVE POP-UPS
FOR GOOD

From Kindness Trees, Gifts For Good Stalls, Gift Wrapping Stations and 12 Days of Christmas gifting - our corporate partners mobilised in more ways than ever before to share the love this festive season, and we were blown away by the creativity and commitment we saw.

These activations generated more than 3,150 meals donated, and $62,000 in products sold (with 50% of all profits reinvested into our social impact programs), and as well as raising awareness and action for our partners and their tenant communities.

LOVE + CARE
PACKING DAYS

From the start of October 2025, we saw a total of 11 Care Packing Days, with a total of 1,510 Love + Care Packs hand-assembled and donated to women’s shelters - just in time for Christmas.

Inspired by a letter written to us by Lisa, a domestic violence survivor, our Love + Care Packs elevate daily essentials with luxurious products designed to spark a sense of self worth. Natural ingredients gently cleanse and refresh, whilst our signature Cedarwood & Cinnamon scent creates a calming, aromatherapeutic experience to relieve stress and anxiety.

With every pack including a heart-warming message of support from women who have walked similar paths, this small gift creates a big impact, turning self care rituals into community care.

BEYOND THE
HOLIDAY SEASON

While Christmas is the perfect time to harness the power of gifting and generosity, the impact of your support extends far beyond the festive season.

Every meal donated, every feast held, every gift given creates a ripple effect of care - where dignity, nourishment and long-term empowerment continue to change lives throughout the year.

With a total of 1,558 donated meals delivered with love throughout the month of December, the above funding will help us support our community well into 2026, ensuring that we can keep filling bellies (and hearts) long after the Christmas lights have been packed away.

At the heart of this work are the women in our Work Work employment program - many of whom have lived experience of crisis themselves. Through meaningful employment opportunities within our kitchens, they prepared these meals for other women on their own journeys — turning shared lived experience, into shared support.
