Soaps For Hope Frequently Asked Questions

ABOUT OUR BUSINESS

At Two Good, our mission is to transform the lives of vulnerable women. Thanks to the generous support we’ve received through grants and donations, we’ve been able to demonstrate the real change we can make.

However, to expand our reach and make a broader impact, we need a sustainable funding model. That’s where our SOAPS FOR HOPE washroom products come in. They’re more than just items; they’re a way to amplify our impact. Every sale directly contributes to our mission, providing the essential funding to support more women living in crisis.

Two Good operates as a dual entity structure:

  • Two Good Foundation is an ACNC registered Not-for-Profit with DGR-2 status, and runs employment pathways programs to empower vulnerable women.
  • Two Good Co is a certified Social Enterprise and collaborates with carefully selected manufacturing partners to produce high quality washroom products. 50% of profits from Two Good Co go directly into funding the Two Good Foundation's initiatives, ensuring a sustainable cycle of support and empowerment.

Yes, Two Good is proudly certified as a social enterprise by Social Traders!

This certification entails a rigorous process where Social Traders assesses over 200 data points, including legal documentation, financial records, and social impact metrics. This validation ensures transparency and trust in our commitment to social responsibility. You can head to the Social Traders website for more information.

When you purchase our washroom products, your investment goes beyond the quality goods themselves. The revenue covers production costs and supports ongoing research and development. After these expenses, a minimum of 50% of profits is channeled back to the Two Good Foundation. This funding directly fuels our paid Work Work program, enabling us to continue to provide a safe, productive environment in which women can change their lives

We proudly hold certification from Social Traders, providing independent validation of our commitment to social impact. Additionally, our transparent financial reporting and annual impact assessments offer further assurance of our dedication to our mission.

As part of Two Good Co, we also generate revenue through catering, event management, concierge services, café and facility management, and special projects such as our much-coveted Two Good Cookbook series and our Gifts For Good collections.

The Two Good Foundation also currently benefits from grants and philanthropic donations to support our operations. However, our goal is for the Foundation to eventually be fully funded by the Company - so that we become as financially independent as the women who graduate our programs!

Our main office is situated in Eveleigh, NSW. Additionally, we maintain operations in Darlinghurst, NSW, and are poised to extend our footprint with a forthcoming site in North Sydney.

We've been crafting beautiful soap and washroom products since 2016, inspired by our ‘Purple Bow Moment’; a letter written to Rob, from a domestic violence survivor, explaining the powerful moment of arriving at the refuge and being gifted some essential toiletries, wrapped in a hand-tied purple bow. That small detail was a reminder of the love and care that she had missed for  so many years in her abusive relationship, and marked the beginning of her healing journey, and is something we carry with us as a foundational value of our work at Two Good.

Our main customers encompass leading corporate entities across diverse sectors. This includes commercial property groups like Charter Hall and Lendlease, financial institutions such as American Express, and prominent real estate developers like Mirvac. Additionally, we serve discerning clients in the tech sector, media and hospitality, amongst others.

Our wholesale customers encompass a wide range of businesses and organisations, including hospitality chains and over 200 corporate offices across Australia. We provide a comprehensive range of solutions for our customers, including 5L jerry cans, 500mL bottles, and a suite of end-of-trip (EOT) hardware and bathroom amenities tailored for a variety of EOT facilities.

However, the common thread among all our customers is their genuine commitment to both quality and social responsibility in their procurement practices, reflecting a shared understanding around the importance of business having a positive impact on our community.

Yes we do!  Our premium personal care range and beautiful gifting ideas such as gourmet food products and designer homewares are available for purchase directly from our website.

PRODUCTION + DISTRIBUTION

We currently collaborate with two ISO-certified manufacturers based in New South Wales, Australia, ensuring top-tier quality and safety standards. We currently supply soap nationally and are able to meet future expansion to meet growing demand.

All our washroom products are proudly manufactured in New South Wales, Australia.

Our distribution strategy focuses on working with cleaning companies, distributors, and directly with customers. We use our warehouse in Eveleigh, Sydney for efficient stock management and distribution. Additionally, we provide direct distribution from our manufacturing locations to meet different procurement needs effectively.

Yes, we occupy a warehouse on the Eveleigh Carriageworks site known as Yaama Dhiyaan.

We have distributed over 130,000 litres of washroom products to 200 individual buildings throughout Australia!

This has doubled in the last 12 months as we continue to build our strong customer base, alongside our contract manufacturing partners that are large enough to scale and meet future demand.

ORDERING + DELIVERY

Our wholesale ordering portal is simple and easy to use - register now to access our full wholesale range. We also have a dedicated Sales + Operations Team to support any real-time questions around fulfillment - just email us at orders@twogood.com.au

As they say, no order is too large or too small! There are no limitations on order quantities. Whether you require products for small venues or for the vast footprints of giant commercial and corporate towers with thousands of tenants, we're here to accommodate your needs.

We offer containers in different sizes to fit your needs, including 500mL pump bottles and 5L jerry cans for our Premium products, and 5L jerry cans for our Everyday toiletries range.

All our containers prioritise recyclable or recycled materials and are sourced from reputable suppliers in NSW, Australia, who share our dedication to environmental sustainability.

Our 500mL bottle manufacturers have been supplying wholesale plastic bottle packaging since 1997.  One of the founders oversees all operations today, bringing decades of experience in the plastic industry and a passion for pioneering new environmental and technological advancements.  Their northern NSW facility is carbon-neutral, largely solar-powered and has been a valued partner of Two Good Co since 2016.

We prioritise eco-friendly materials, like recycled PET for our 500mL bottles and recyclable HDPE for 5L jerry cans. Additionally, we maintain shipping-to-product ratios below a 2:3 ratio to minimise waste and environmental impact.

  • Sydney CBD + Surrounding Suburbs: we make our own deliveries to the Sydney CBD on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for a flat fee of $20.
  • Western Sydney: we deliver weekly to suburbs in Western Sydney for a flat fee of $30.
  • Interstate + Regional NSW: we use Star Track Express, which can take 2-8 days.

PRODUCT INFO

At Two Good, we're dedicated to embracing environmental sustainability. Our premium range is packaged in recycled PET vessels, and our formulas are vegan, cruelty-free, and crafted with natural ingredients. We prioritise eco-friendly practices in our manufacturing processes and continually seek innovative packaging and fulfillment solutions to reduce our environmental impact.

We use high-quality, natural ingredients such as essential oils and plant extracts. For detailed ingredient lists, please refer to the product packaging or our website product pages.

No. All of our washroom products use formulas that are PETA-certified vegan and cruelty-free, and crafted with natural ingredients that are non-toxic and biodegradable. However, some of our products contain allergens which to a very small number of people may cause irritation, so we do recommend reading the list of ingredients for each product.

The profit from our product sales supports our social impact programs, which aim to create meaningful and positive changes in the lives of vulnerable women. We use globally recognised standards to measure this impact, tracking metrics like employment hours, skill development, and overall improvements in well-being among our program participants. These results are then shared with you through our Impact Reports, to uphold our two-fold commitment to not only create tangible impact, but to also keep you informed about the positive changes you’re helping to create.

Please contact our team at orders@twogood.com.au if you’re interested in sampling our products for your business.

Please check out our Product Safety Data Sheets for product viscosity, and cross-check against the viscosity recommendations of the manufacturer of the dispenser. We're happy to help you sort this out - simply get in touch with our team and we can supply the required documents.

Viscosity is the state of being thick, sticky, and semi-fluid in consistency. Centipoise (CPS or CP) is the viscosity value that is assigned to liquids.

As a guide, the lower the CPS the thinner the formula (water = CPS 1, peanut butter = CPS 250,000). High CPS is thick and low CPS flows with more relative ease.

Everyday Antibacterial Hand Wash (Foam): CPS <10

Everyday Hand Wash (Liquid/Gel): CPS 4000 – 5000

Premium Hand Wash (Liquid/Gel): CPS 2000 – 5000

No - our 500ml bottle is not a standard size, it is custom-made for us and comes with its own bracket, which can be purchased from us separately.

Profit from both the sale of the 500ml bottles and brackets contribute to helping more vulnerable women, so purchasing both means you can maximise the impact you have!

Our brackets are black powder-coated stainless steel, which is a high quality fit-for-purpose material designed to perform over time in bathrooms, showers and kitchens. We do not currently offer any other colour or variation.

Our bracket manufacturing partner is a family-owned company based in Western Sydney and has the most technologically advanced and efficient machinery and equipment in the industry. Their advanced manufacturing process maintains a maximum raw material utilisation rate, and our shared values of safety at work and at home, combined with a commitment to high quality and continuous improvement have made them a valued member of the Two Good manufacturing family since 2016.

Yes, there are three sizes to accommodate single, double and triple bottle configurations.

Yes - we offer lockable and non-lockable brackets. The lockable brackets require an allen key to remove the bottles making them harder to pilfer, but still simple to unlock to replenish the bottles as required.

The brackets are easy to install onto different types of walls and can be performed by anyone who is handy with a drill. We do not provide the screws as this will depend on what the wall is made from; you will need to purchase your own screws and cover any costs associated with the installation.
