TITLE: Cafe Supervisor REPORTS TO: Core Hospitality Services Manager START DATE: Immediate LOCATION: Yirranma Place, 262 Liverpool Street, Darlinghurst NSW, Australia HOURS: Full Time, Casual
Our new Café Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the Two Good Café at Yirranma Place in Darlinghurst. Set in a beautiful heritage listed building that acts as a precinct for social purpose organisations, the café has a great internal clientele and local customers who regularly frequent the café.
The role will ensure the highest quality standards in both coffee and food productions whilst maintaining exceptional customer service, and effective operational management.
Crucially this role will help foster an empathetic, learning focussed and safe workplace culture that will help our program participants thrive.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive and maintain the Two Good culture and brand within the surrounding area by effectively communicating and building strong relationships with colleagues, tenants, local community members, and customers.
Train Café Assistants in barista and customer service skills; Complete program training checklists and program deliverables, like Employee Assessment Tool (EAT) surveys, on time and to a high standard.
Ensure POS is kept up to date with daily options and available stock levels.
Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation of the Café at all times.
Facilitate key functions of Work Work Program Darlo: Café trainees, liaising closely with the Work Work Darlo Program Manager.
Correct and hygienic food handling procedures will need to be closely adhered to.
Delivery of timely, quality reports to the Core Hospitality Services Manager.
Work closely with the Head Chef, colleagues and suppliers to produce the highest standard of food and coffee possible.
